Hi Pete, what a wonderful car, albait i am baised as a real Buick guy.Runs nice, i think the noice is defenitly from the valvetrain, best suspekt is a partly stuck valve lifter and ore a valve that is not completly closing in its valveseat therfore having excessive valve clearence.Maybey a flush with good flushing oil me do the trick for you.Really like the content you are making.Greetings from Henry Hendriks from Arnhem in the Netherlands who drives a Buick Regal Brougham with the infamous 4.1 litre V6 and 4 speed automatic from 1986.
