No problem that truck has a new home now in North Florida as a farm truck. the guy drives it all over his 200 acre farm. There will be improvements made to the truck and another KZbin video in the future! The truck has factory tilt wheel and a factory PTO and aftermarket sunroof and dealer installed air conditioning. The 454 was pretty sweet, It ran great.

I really can't believe how good it ended up running even the water pump works! I thought for sure I'd have to do a lot more stuff to it.

The bed sinking down after removing the wheel was such a surprise. I wouldn’t have guessed but it makes sense! Thanks for some of the how to’s!

It was a shocker to us too I didn't realize that the bed floor was that far gone you could literally pick up the two bed sides and just flip it right off the back.

My friend committed to buying the truck as soon as I bought it because he has one just like it however it's being repurposed in Tallahassee Florida as a farm truck. He has already located doors and other parts for it to revive it

Nice find, even though that whole truck body is scrap....you'd have to replace everything! Had a 79 with the 350 4spd in high school. Hoods were poorly made from factory, hinges were prone to rusting and seizing up. When you closed the hood, had to shut it from the front and sides. But that truck was a built as a solid tank.

Found a mint condition cabin doors hood and fenders on a 74 sitting in a junkyard here in Florida. I think my friend went and bought pretty much what was left of the body and it was 99% perfect. That truck is going to a good home and as an added bonus it had a PTO that I didn't know it had when I first bought it

It runs really good. I sold it to one of my friends who was taking it to Tallahassee Florida to repurpose it as a farm truck.

Really sad to see how badly rotted out this truck was. What state was this truck located in?

It was a Florida truck since the day it was new, the problem is that it sat under a tree behind a shed in a very damp backyard for 27 years with a bed full of roofing material. The truck does live on, in fact I have an update video coming out very soon it has a new home on a ranch in the panhandle
