I hope and pray y’all redo this truck and bring it back to life! My daddy was in the trucking business for 30 years and this is the model trucks he had and I just lost my dad and 40 hours later my momma died so seeing this truck brings back a lot of memories! He ran 8 trucks and had one spare in case one broke down just thinking about him as I watch this! I miss them so bad already but glad they are not suffering anymore!

Back in the day the KW torsion suspension was pretty common. High maintenance. Others had Hendrickson leaf or biscuit and much lesser air bags then we see today.

I just started watching your videos, Bruce, and it just so happens I am in process to go to CDL School. I will be wanting an older truck like this one in your video. Redo it for years of me driving it, but run it until I have the money to really upgrade it If you or someone out there has one they would sell me at a decent price in the future I would appreciate it very much. Awesome video! I just finished restoring a 1987 Mazda RX-7 Turbo. I worked on it for about a year. I use a cool prgram on my computer called Automotive Wolf car maintenance software to track all the parts and expenses so I know exactly what I have invested in it. I have about 6K in it now and plan to sell it for 12K after paint. Thanks for the great video

To break a seized wheel loose jack it up and wind a strong cargo strap around the tyre and pull on that ( like starting a lawnmower, only slowly )

How do you just start guessing at the voltage and throwing batteries in? Seems like a lot of damage can occur. Lot of trucks back then were 24v start 12v run using a series/Parrell switch. Some were straight 12 volt , some even had compression release.
