Not going to need a cut here in Flint, MI for another month I would guess. I did pay $30 for a nice Craftsman 6.0 HP last week. Guy said it needed a "spark plug wire". I took the almost new coil off an engine I tossed a rod thru the case on the last mulching day on Nov. 11. Had it running in 20 mins. I learn a lot from you guys. Thank you.

I spent the whole day mowing and strimming, nasty showers but wind and sun dried top out quickly. I wonder why some Briggs are so bad at starting? I've got 1 Briggs quantum engine, but that always starts 1st pull. My Honda's all start first pull. I only run premium fuel now to avoid the worst of the ethanol rubbish.👍

bumpkinrocks yeah. To be fair it’s not been started in weeks. It’s good as gold now

I use the premium super unleaded on our mower and two stroke machinery and I never have any issues with starting. I also use the HP super green Stihl two stroke oil in our two stroke machinery and non of them have any starting issues or running faults.

Can't wait to fire up the family home mower which is a 1997 John Deere 14sx pro with a Kawasaki engine. It's never had any issues with starting as I tend to only use super unleaded fuel. All of the two stroke machinery is also the same age and starts really well as I use the Stihl HP super green two stroke oil as the red stuff is rubbish at preventing fuel going off. Issue is our garden is like a bog.

@@themowerman I find that storing the lawnmower for the winter ready for spring to do the first cut takes a bit to start sitting in storage I love the quick lawn cut you did in the vids I remember in high school I took the lawn mower class younger students would take the lawn mower apart but never put it together just threw the parts inside the engine piston upside down cam gear threw in side the casing them bolted all up my teacher would say brad I have one engine for you I put it all together and ran it it for a short time quite happy with one thing that people is stick a blow hose in the carburetor to get high boost to the engine one way to blow the head off the engine this guy in my class had no class doing this teacher caught on to it not a good thing to a engine
