I was due to have my second (opposite side) hip replacement within a year of my first one, but unfortunately the pandemic scuppered that and it was delayed by three years. I really, really needed my surgery by that time and am deeply grateful that it happened at last in July 2024.

I am sorry to hear that you had to wait so long. The pandemic and the lockdowns have had far reaching and still unrealized consequences. Good to hear that you had your surgery eventually.
