It’s a talking point for OU because they do 3 and outs often and don’t score high and you can’t do that against an especially high scoring offense like Tennessee

It does make sense for Tennessee. Many teams start slow and gradually wear you down or slow down the game with long drives. UT is known for starting fast and scoring a lot in the first quarter; you can be down 14 before you get going. When that happens, you have to leave your game plan and take risks to get back in it, leading to a snowball effect

There are a lot of teams that other teams could go 3 and out on and still win because the other team will also be going 3 and out a lot. Tennessee won't be going 3 and out a lot, so you don't want to, either.

I’m a Tennessee fan and the closer this game gets the more nervous I am about it. I mean the disrespect the media is giving OU & the overconfidence my Tennessee fans has is so thick you can cut it with a knife. The more I look at this game the more it feels like 2023 S. Carolina. BVS is real for sure!!! lol, and while I agree on the nervous factor… The SC game had some potential factors to it.. from the whole Banks locker room situation, and now the talk of Stallions involvement to try and knock us and Clemson out of the playoff conversation… I think we are more focused and better prepared than the last couple of years for a game like this. My gut says 41-24 UT (with us getting out ahead mid game 35-14, and OU scoring their last 10 points in the 4th while we kick two field goals to lock it up with Moore in clean up duty)… I could be wrong but what I am feeling in the bones… and we take that momentum into the bye to rest up and get ready for Florida and Bama coming up soon. - I can see a scenario where JH drops the hammer and runs it up as revenge… but I more see him being a little more classy (because it’s OU) and calling off the dogs once the win is ours.

I think yall Tennessee fans can be comfortable being confident. I think we’re in real trouble tomorrow, our offensive line is a straight dumpster fire. Our secondary has holes and I’m sure Nico will find them. We need the Sooner magic to be rollin in thick!

I kind of think Tennessee will get behind early and have to play catch up all night. You guys have a running QB and that has historically given us problems. Should be a good game either way, I just wish this game was about weeks further down the line for our team so they could have more experience.

Tennessee is going to go even further than they did with rubbing in how good they are with the onside kick against Kent State. In this game, they're going to let the offensive players play defense and the defensive players play offense. And still win by fiddy.

Proud to say that I'm a Tennessee fan...... I know we've had a easy schedule that was made years ago (and then got changed as a result of the SEC merger of OU and Texas.....) Can't hold that against us - It has kept us healthy and allowed us to work out the bugs for OU...... If you’ve watched what’s going on in our games…. We've been playing “VANILLA” on Offense and Defense with a sprinkle here and there as briefly as possible. BUT, I think we just have too many ways to score quickly...... 3 DEEP (Not just Sampson) in running backs and 6-7 different quality receivers..... We can just score too many ways.... Not to mention the D-Line that we have...... We may beat OU by 17-20 or more..... VOLS by 17+ ! GBO!

Nico just tried to squeeze the ball into an incredibly tight window, inadvisably so, and overthrew it for an interception. The second one (the pick 6) was not his fault though, obviously

The first int was on Bru. He throttled down. Coach talked about it after the game. The 2nd int was because his arm got hit during the throw.

I think the last 2 ranked teams Tennessee played (neutral site), Iowa & NC State, UT scored a total of 86 and gave up 10 points. Impressive really. OU at home should be favored though, so I'm wondering why not? I saw the Houston and Tulane games. Tennessee's players haven't even played a full game yet, so that's weird. If OU gets help with penalties and turnovers they have a shot to win at home. Straight up, UT looks more efficient. Could be a classic!

Not knowing what a first-string lineup is for OU, I just have to say there sure is a lot of talk about injuries. If both lines are that injured, there may be a question as to how those lines will play, even if some starters are back. Does OU have secret starting teams that are so good they have been held back, just to spring at their first SEC game, and at home, and against Heupel ???? I think they better hope so...;)).

Im a Vol fan and i believe Oklahoma is alot better than they have been looking. I think they have been playing possum or sandbagging to not show all they have. Becauze when they had to play gokd against a decent team (Tulane) they jumped all over them by 24 points. Tulane qould smash any team we (vols) have plaued this year. Im worried about this game.

Yeah Oklahoma are better than they’ve shown but it’s not sandbagging it’s a lack of synergy because of the offensive line injuries and Arnold not being able to trust not getting sacked every pass play
