Stone tool makers didn't lose their jobs when bronze came along. They became bronze tool makers. Bronze didn't appear out of nowhere along with a completely new workforce over night. As technology evolves, so does the job market, which happens slowly over a longer period of time. We get a new generation every 20-or-so years and every new generation will learn new jobs, as well as old generations learning new skills and techniques if their jobs require it over a period of years and even decades, just like they would if new rules and regulations are put in place that require them to change the way they work. Robots don't take our jobs. Our jobs evolve at the same rate as technology. Example: your place of work gets a welding robot rig. However, you don't get fired because this robot can now weld 10 times faster and more efficiently than you. Instead, in order to compensate for this new technology and your job becoming obsolete, you go from being a manual welder to working as a welding robot operator.
