Brett as much as I agree with your takes, you sound like someone who's been privileged enough not to be involved in hardship of a fight. There's are complexities leading up to every situation. @@whobdob I suppose Brett is well connected, and could have a doctor prescribe "the kitchen sink" to her, on short notice. Tim Pool told about that course of treatment after he had a rather bad bout of the spiky bug. Though, the casual way she mentioned it sounded more like she popped a handful of the river blindness medicine (the I).

This might seem strange, but I would bet money that Smits's apology was both genuine and faked. I think he actually regrets slapping Chris Rock, but there are certainly parts of that apology that he was forced to say. You can see in the footage from the slap that Will Smith was laughing at the joke at first, then G.I. Jane looks over at him and you can tell she's pissed. You can tell the only reason he did it was to try to appease her. You can tell that he was forced to say she had nothing to do with it. What else can we expect? She abuses him and everyone knows it. Someone needs to step in and rescue him from her.

The censoring of the word at 8:03 made me laugh way too hard. Also I watch/enjoy/love dark and offensive comedy. Chris Rock's joke about Jada having no hair was an easy joke to make that should have had little to no consequences. When you are near the stage when a comedian is on, you will become a target of their jokes. Technically they should have been happy he just joked about her having no hair because some of the comedians I watch go for the kill.

The fact that Will Smith posted the apology, even though chris rock said he's not ready to talk, is OK with me. If he never posted it, then it looks like he did nothing. Doing something is generally way better than doing nothing. And in this case, I think that holds true as well. He had to put it out there so at least he could say he tried. And yes, I believe it was genuine. Now, Will, don't F*ck up next time, or at least don't F*ck up that bad. And since we're all human and make mistakes, don't wait 3 months to fix it. Something about when someone says I apologize vs I'm sorry that feels less sincere or meaningful. When i first watched this I thought ok this feels fake but at least he's doing this BUT the second he started apologizing to Jada and the academy peeps. He lost me forever. Why say "I'm trying not to feel like a peace of shhh" why say something like that?

@@bloodgacha4163 l was quoting a Japanese proverb ,l learned while stationed in Japan. I am not Will Smith , neither are you , suppose he slapped his wife at home or his children? The axiom is still valid , if you cannot control your anger , you are not a true man... or l will extend the axiom to.... you are not a true woman either. That is a problem in our society, we cannot control our emotions , l live in NYC where a young man working 40 hours a week while a student was shot by someone whose mother got cold fries , upon being arrested, his defense was , gotta do what you gotta do.

Shame is healthy to experience. A little humilty can go a long way. Chris has every right to not want to discuss things with Will. The man was more of a man for taking the slap in stride, rolling with it and not turning it into a social media nightmare due to his mental instability. I can imagine, if the internet was taken from general public, Say for like 1 month. And kept solely for businesses and content Creators like you. People might actually have to go outside and do something other then bindge social media for some clout chasing antics or actually see the shit their creating is hurting our world not helping it. Jada is the real problem here, Will should've left her a long time ago when she humiliated him with her affair. I think this apology is sincere for the most part, but it's clear he's trying to protect Jada's culpability in the matter. She's that type of evil woman that has been depicted in songs and movies since forever ago, she has destroyed the great man that Will used to be. I feel bad for him, but somebody needs to knock some sense into him to leave his ab*sive situation.
