That’s not happening. You only make a trade like that if you’re one piece away. Our has too many holes and we need our future 1st round picks. If the front office can get an edge rusher for a 4th round pick or later, then they will probably do that, but don’t expect any blockbuster trades. Be patient, we’re a rebuilding team. Haha. Thats funny. But true.. I'm 49 years old. When I was a kid I had a St Louis Cardinals football hat... then a Phoenix Cardinals football hat. So I go pretty far back.. I've watched Cardinals games at the old Sun Devil Stadium when the Cardinals fan were very few. Sitting on metal bleachers.. so I totally get it.. that's why the Kurt Warner run was so special.

I'm the OG Cardinal fan 😎. When I was in high school in the 80s, the Arizona Cardinals came to my highschool football practice. I got a chance to train with them on the field. I became a fan in 1988. But its been hard and a lot of disappointment. So I don't get excited until they win a playoff game.

I’d love to see Landry and/or Ojulari, but another name who seems to be available is Nose Tackle Sebastian Joseph-Day on the Chargers, a guy who just hasn’t worked out there, but showed in college he could play ball. Think he would sure up the inside of the d-line for the rest of the season. Ultimately I think Monti waits until he sees a game from Robinson first but a move still needs to be made and if names come off the board (I don’t count Uche, not really a fit) he might have his hand forced, would love to see a Budda Baker extension in the coming days/weeks too, wouldn’t want him to walk/require a tag at the end of the season, and if he wants to be here long-term, he’s definitely earned it.

Probably not. this defense is more than one edge rusher away from being able to stop anyone consistently and make us a playoff contender lol. this defense needs four or five players to make it a consistent playoff caliber defense, and you can’t do that during the trade deadline. Robinson or probably be a non-factor for the remainder of the season.

The Cardinals never EVER make a move for an important piece that could make a difference during season. It just doesn’t happen. They’ve always just settled with what they have and let it play out which is what’s going to happen again. With 20M in cap space. Then we’ll all sit around during the offseason and watch them also not do anything to better this team. They play through the draft and signing dudes who are nearly played out.
