Excellent analysis ! I've been in and out off the markets since the 60's and his projections of the future market patterns are spot on. When the crash starts it will drag everything down with it and last years. They sell anything they have to help cover their losses . Those stinking suited goons on TV tell you to rebalance your portfolio. A crash is a Forest fire, all the trees burn. I'm 100% MM and don't have to worry about when and what event triggers the cascading waterfall. Listen to your elders, I'm enjoying a financially comfortable retirement.

I follow Gareth and he has gold heading to a little over 2500 as well and the markets pulling back. He is also a technical trader who really just follows charts and not emotion etc.

It depends on where markets, indices, bond, $, are and headed to... But both can't stop, or reverse, those markets. At election day the total world picture looks much different than now. Even weeks before, and that is of influence of the election...So a lot will happen this year🤨

Stay the course, stocks are not going down 50%, not even close. Just some consolidation because inflation but that will soon change. Gold is not safe heaven, if markets were to go down strong gold would follow to the downside. HF are shorting and fueling next rally. Four trillion in MMarkets waiting to buy. FED will not allow any Bank systemic risk. If april 10th inflation data comes better we could have a strong squeeze. Hold!!!!

Depends on what you have invested, 5% historically is not a small sum on a high net worth portfolio. It’s the Optionality provided after a major downturn that is potentially the value of gold. It is what the value of gold will eventually allow one to acquire at much lower asset prices after carnage sets in. I recall my depression era father telling me a wealthy investor in San Francisco went to gold the day before the great depression of 1929 occurred, and he bankrolled numerous companies going forward. What people seem to miscalculate is that 5% in modern times appears minimal, but when prices go to lower than the mean that 5% buys substantially more because of reset values.
