Welcome back from vacation 👍. I have a thought about Novikov, that I have not seen/heard anyone else mention; I think, he is influenced by the war going on in his home country. Even though he is not in the Ukrainian army, I think, the instability that has been in the whole country for a few years now, plays an important role. I sincerely hope to see Novikov make a good come back. He may have peaked too young, but I hope, that is not the case.

Do you think that split jerk shouldn't be allowed in strongman sport?
@MrMikeyj812 ай бұрын
Doesn't matter Mitch pressed and locked it out with ease....deal with it lol
@AlgernonBrosplitz2 ай бұрын
My take on the split jerk: to me it's equally impressive to have the stones to dip under a couple hundred kilos so I'm all for it. And I'm equally against deadlift suits because that makes the lift less impressive. Anyone who doesn't think Olympic style lifting is badass has never touched a barbell
@77slate2 ай бұрын
I don't understand the criticism of using split jerk, in SM. It's a very valid lifting form and isn't the point of SM to just get the weight from A&B. Over the years we have seen some very "creative" lifts it's part & parcel of the sport so to criticise the split jerk is a bizarre stance to me. Agree with 💯 there.
