Her daughter,Kate Chenery is a wonderful wonan and we both shared that we still cry tears of joy every time we watch his Belmont race. His exercise rider Charlie Davis was a true gem. He loved to share stories of his experiences with Secretariat. The first time I met him, I was mesmerized. You could see all the emotions he had for this horse as he reminisced about the greatest horse ever. While answering one of my questions, he told everyone this: "He took care of me, not the other way around. Secretariat allowed me to be a part of his life. I was never his pilot, always his co-pilot. I was merely along for the ride." Because of Secretariat I have been a lifelong fan of horse racing, and the owner of several horses of my own. I was a kid in NY. we weren't a family that watched horse racing, but this we did. Secretariat captured the world.....I've watched this video numerous times and still get goosebumps. Greatest racehorse ever imho.

I could watch these races every day, just to see Secretariat run. The movie is fantastic, it’ll bring out so many emotions in you. He was absolutely beautiful to watch.

My Dad loved horse racing and he loved Secretariat. He took the day off work to drive to Toronto (nearly 400 km) to see Secretariat’s very last race at Woodbine Racetrack. He talked about that for a long time and said he was so glad he got to see him run his final race, which he won. Thanks for a great reaction to Secretariat, who has been called the greatest. There are many documentaries and a pretty good movie about him. 👏👏🇨🇦

Secretariat still holds the stakes record for each of the Triple Crown races, the Kentucky Derby (1:59 2/5 ) the Preakness Stakes (1:53), and the Belmont Stakes (2:24).

I loved this reaction. I myself love animals and my parent's trained and raced Thoroughbred Horses all my life. I was pretty much raised on racetracks across Louisiana. ❤❤❤❤

Nice reaction. There are many really cool things about Secretariat one is, when he saw someone with a camera he would walk over to them. Something else other horses don't do is out of the pasture he would watch the jet trails going across the sky.

ESPN had Big Red in the top 10 greatest athletes of the 20th century. All track records are still in place. Secretariat really brought the people to horse racing never knew anything about the sport! The call on the last race is classic..."he's moving like a tremendous machine!". Gives me chills every time!!

The movie “Secretariat” is one of my favorites. I love how he knew people were taking pictures of him. He was a super athlete and super smart.
