My goodness, having a brand new baby and young ones as well in itself is a lot of work, but trying to do a flower business on top of that is a huge output of energy and most women could not pull this off. Give yourself a lot of love and kindness because you are amazing! Your display was lovely and I'm so happy you sold out of tulips! Also, being able to pivot is a great strength and served you well! Be proud of your self! P.S. Isopropyl alcohol may take off the sticky stuff on your white pales!

Embrace this stage of life. Take a deep breath, I know its very difficult. I had 4 babies. You have so much to be grateful for, fussy baby and all. Try not to compare yourself to others or wish this stage away. It goes by so quickly. Cherish every moment with your babies. Try to enjoy the journey, not just the destination. You did a beautiful job with the flowers. You are a wonderful mother. Hardest job in the world and you’re knocking it out of the ball park. ❤❤❤

I love all your contents and the real gardening hiccups. You show the real pictures of gardening. I started my small garden and now just selling on Facebook. I can tell it’s hard work. My kids are grown but I can’t imagine your little ones and how you find time to do all these. About the stickers on the containers. This works all the time for me. Soak it with oil and dish soap in warm or hot water over night or couple hours it will come off so easily. Good luck and keep giving us great videos. You are such a hard worker.

You are in such a challenging stage of motherhood. Boy, do I remember the days of a super fussy infant who wouldn't ever sleep. My oldest had severe reflux and was in so much pain every time I laid him down. I wore him constantly, and it really impeded my work day. I know it's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but you are doing a great job!

Lemon oil works amazing on stickers and the smell will lift your spirits! I know everyone tells young moms that the time goes so fast. It doesn’t feel like it when you are in the dailyness of life but it is so true. My 4 girls are all grown up and it went by so quickly. Their little lives are so much more important than our businesses. I am sad that you are resentful. God’s grace to me is that even if my situation doesn’t change, He will give me a different way to think about it. Cast your care upon Him because He cares for you! I found a Mothers of Preschoolers group with my first baby and made the best friends who have been there for me to help me with all my business ventures, cleaning and organizing, marriage struggles and mothering. They are still my best friends after 30 years! I just started a flower farm and wedding venue in Ohio and those same friends are here with me helping and encouraging me. God is good! Rest and just love your husband and those precious wee ones!

Please don’t lose sight of the fact you’re growing the most extraordinary things this life has to offer….little human beings. Nothing else comes close. Do what you can and let the rest go. Babies are only little for a short time…life goes by in a blink. My youngest is graduating with her BSN degree. When she left for college, I cried for a week straight. She was attached to me at the hip since the day she was born. I’d give anything to have some of that precious time back. Your flowers and gardens will be there when you’re life isn’t as hectic. It’s what I do to fill my days when she is away living her dreams and that’s how it should be. All the best. K

BRILLIANT pivots! Here are some thoughts and feel free to toss them in the trash. Cut yourself a break Mom. The baby wrap is the best thing you can do to be able to do things with your hands. I would suggest a wagon or similar mobile device so you aren't walking back and forth to the car as much. Maybe get a battery operated swing for the baby that you can set up near where you're working in the garden. Put a worn T-shirt with the baby so the baby "smells" you while swinging. Keep track of how many bouquets you're selling so you can cut your papers ahead of time (like in winter). Rubberband your bouquets and put them in water. Then wrap them. Then put the bow on. This way you're not stopping and starting. It does work out to be faster. You can get a bag of rubberbands at Walmart. When I sold flowers I used 2' x 4' folding tables that were height adjustable. I'd have one higher and another in front and lower. Then I'd put more in front of that but on covered tubs. The whole display was stair-stepped and that way I could be there to help everyone, but I was usually by myself. Just remember to take care of yourself too. It's not easy being a Mom. It's okay to have feelings of exasperation and it is normal to be overwhelmed. Again, cut yourself a break. You're doing great. Also, for people buying several starts, use a drink cup carrier or fold over/cut shorter paper lunch bags/small grocery paper bags. If cutting them, you can leave them flat until you need to use them. Also, you can put a logo label on them. You could also make Tussie Mussies with short stems and sell them inexpensively. Take a few stems and a small piece of greenery, wrap a folded wet paper towel around the bottom of the stems, place into a sandwich baggie, wrap a small piece of brown paper around it and put a bow on it. Make sure the plastic doesn't show out the top. Hugs!

Suggestion for your small pots, maybe punch holes and add a pipe cleaner handle and then use a nice washi tape band around the pot instead of the paper. You could even print labels with your logo and add to the pots. I also appreciate that you're honest with how you feel in the moment and am rooting for you to have a successful year!

I am a cold hardy zone 4b gardener east coast 🇨🇦 I recommend for a cheap early sales option, starting pansies in the late summer/early fall for your early spring sales. They’re easy and cool hardy, can withstand some early spring frosts and people love planting them enmass. So they’re larger plants in the spring, You can leave them planted in beds or rows mulched in the ground over winter, then pot them up in the spring before they start blooming. I also recommend starting some bulbs early spring in pots, indoors early. Such as glads, blazing stars, acidranthra, daffs, tulips etc. can force them for early blooms and sell for early decorations sales. Just some thoughts.

The wrap looked great to me and the baby at all points in the video didn't seem to be having any problems. Even with helpful advise on the internet, I would just only stick with those in your life that have experience and can physically show you. When I was helping to raise my twin niece and nephew, that wrap and an african one for sides/hips was amazing, but there was no way the internet helped since I'm not a visual learner. I hate all aspects of motherhood, so no kids for me. It's always been so helpful for me to get the honest reality from working mum's like yourself and my sisters/in laws. I can only hope that me being the aunty that's always there to help raise the babies took away a lot of my family's stress. What always works for me for sticker recidue is pouring hot water in the container, then adding any cooking oil to the scrubbing side of a sponge. When the container is hot, the glue mels slightly (or just softens, I don't know tbh) then the oil helps to remove it. You can add the oil into kitchen paper, but I find it's a lot easier/faster with something rough like a dish sponge.

I have a 3 month old while trying to do flowers as well! The wrap looks like it is on correct to me! I use mine all the time for my fussy baby. When he falls asleep I pull the fabric over half his head so when I bend over or move it doesn't shift his head (still use my hand as well when bending over). You are doing better at fresh flower than I am! Nothing wintered over well due to squirrels digging out my garden - even after replanting multiples times in fall/spring. I still have seedlings sitting in their trays for a month that need to go out as well as direct seeding. Unfortunately looks like there will be multiple days in the 90s coming up so... may have to wait longer. On a positive note I am still making as much, if not more with my dried/pressed items at markets!

For stickers a heat gun is soooooo useful. I worked at a bookstore for years and the only way to get stickers off books without damaging them was a heat gun or a razor blade. So worth the investment, they take off any sticker, no matter how sticky so effortlessly! Also seeing you with your babies is such an inspiration. I’m grateful that you’re showing what it’s really like to do this. Your family is beautiful.

Hi Kristen, I understand you completely! My son also was on the restless side as a baby. It is very exhausting! But if you can, try to get help from the rest of your family! It is so much easier if someone can help you out with this and that also during the "normal" days. I didn't have that opportunity and nearly went mad some of the days. And: Your flower-arrangements always are that beautiful!! I wish you the very best to find more time for floristry and also through the ups and downs of sweet Julia. ❤🌻

(Still am not monetized on KZbin after 3 YEARS of posting 1-2 times per week. I've finally got 1k subscribers but am Still needing 1800 watch hours 😩so ive had to limit myself to only 1 video per month in order to do all the other tasks) I wouldn't change having my son for the world- wpuld have more babies if I didn't struggle with infertility, but I het it- it's sooo hard when something needs watered right away, or you need to harvest, or make bouquets, etc. & you can only squeeze in 20 minutes here, 15 minutes there... my husband & i jave to work opposite shofts because we dont have a babysitter we can trust... & so i have to het up with him early on the morning & then work 3-11. & hes been so i credibly above since he could crawl- you would think my son has autism because of how much he is on the move... I don't get a break! & our property isn't fenced so when jes running around the yard paying i constantly have to stop & see where he's wandered off..
