If we get iginla cool, if we don't I'm cool with that too. There is a second iginla (Joe) who plays for the Oil kings available 2026. Lots of time to see how he develops between now and then.

If Tij is picked before #9 I'd guess that one, or more, of the top 4 center prospects will drop to them. That is a good thing.

I think there's a 50/50 chance he's available there are so many top-end players from the 1-10 at this year's draft. It's all about organizational need which varies so much from team to team. If we lose out on Iginla and someone like Berkley Catton, Sam Dickinson, Anton Salayev or Zayne Parekh could all drop so it's a win-win either way. You're getting a difference-maker at number 9 as long as Conroy doesn't go off the board like he did with Honzek last year.

I can tell you now!! Tij could go 2nd overall Chicago.. He is the 2nd best forward in this group!! Demidov and Lindstrom will not have the career Tij will have and scouts know it!!
