You gave them sugar. I remember coming home from school and couldn't even take a 20 min nap because my mom would always be taking care of relatives/friends kids . They'd be jumping around, screaming, breaking things and she'd just be in the kitchen cooking like nothing happened. There was this other time I went to go visit someone's apartment but the family that lived upstairs was making tons of noise I couldn't have a normal conversation.
