Every time we go by the house, there seems to be something that needs to get figured out. But I am still hopeful and praying for a move-in before Christmas. Only time will tell. Everything looks nice. I can't believe how vain you are about a simple toilet paper holder. I would want it to be reachable and where it is would be perfect. And who cares if you see you TP holder as you walk in every bathroom has one. As for your nice sink I'd make them turn that sink around so the chip is facing the wall. And good that your making your plumber buy a new door for your refer. its a shame how little people care about someone's appliances he should've been more careful. I guess what your experiencing is normal when you build.

I love your laundry room floor! Was it installed brick by brick or does it come on a backing piece with several bricks on the piece? I hope that makes sense! Also, is it fairly smooth or bumpy? I’m wanting to put something similar in my laundry room but I’m not sure I’d be happy with it if it’s bumpy.

It was done brick by brick, but you can buy webs. They have regular brick webs and herringbone webs, but they were way more expensive. I’m sure the person who installed them would have appreciated it though, haha. And it is bumpy for sure.

Thank you for responding! My husband and I were looking online at the brick and it is expensive! I found a tutorial on painting a concrete floor to look like brick, and since our laundry room is in the basement and has a concrete floor, I think we’ve decided to try painting it and if we don’t like it, then we will decide what we want to do for plan “B”. Im excited to give it a try and I ordered a herringbone stencil online. I’ll keep you posted on whether or not it works!😁

You are getting so close! Make notes of everything wrong! This is your forever home! You pay these people to do things correctly…if they know they can get away with half heartily doing your job that’s what you will end up with! Make a punch list for your builder to check off to ensure everything is completed to your satisfaction before final payment is released…that is how things are done here. Just saying for your info (assuming you already know that). Praying they will get you that CO before the 24th!
