A little late, but while I agree that the real reason for locking advanced logistics behind research is to make the game more difficult, it can still be considered realistic because managing logistics networks gets crazy complicated as you add more moving parts. For example, I think just-in-time delivery started as someone's MS or PhD thesis ~30 years ago.

thanks to your tip on having the city closer, as well as making more construction stuff and dumping resources next to the border i got my first working (self sustaining) city on year 2-3 🤩 on a sour note, i did kill one city on year 1-2 due to my heating not working 😆

For what i understand, passengers will wait at the station for 1 hour, and then reset they waking distance for their needs from there, so, if they are at the bus station, and dont find a bus to take them there, then they will search again in a 400mts radius . Personally i never tested that, but its something Bbajillo has stated several times. Maybe you shoul follow one of those passangers wanting a visit to a doctor and look at their behavior. Love the series!

I agree with your opinion on the fire helicopters, but here is the reason I think it could be locked... Cargo helicopters are just ropes and chains that are connected and disconnected to the heli to transport cargo. Where as with fire helicopters, you need to invent a mechanism to allow the release of the water while not disconnecting the bucket itself.

There is a mod called improved customs that fixes the AI pathing at the borders. (Just a suggestion)

@@CharliePryor I have been playing with the mod on the new beta build and it works really well. You have to make a very simple change but everything is explained. That said, I understand that as a content creator you might not want to risk it. (And I see it might no longer be an issue anyway)

Hey Charlie, just a note on the bus station and passangers (In case you have not figured out yet, you probably have in future videos) As long as your hospital is in range of the bus station and the residential buildings are in range of the bus station, your population will walk to the hospital from the bus station

Charlie, you have 9% unemployment, then why not have a domestic woodworking industry on par with gravel? At least in past updates you didn't need a lot of people and buildings to do that. Afraid of deforestation?

Hi, If you want your Customs to be faster there is a mod called Improved Customs. Make Custom feel more real. Taking more than one vehicles at a time. Be sure to read carefully fpr the test branch is you want to use it.

To add to this, their is training required for flying in a fire zone, the heat from Fires can cause issues for an unskilled pilot so I always see it as training and preparing the birds for flying in the heat of fires.

Thank you for a great morning breakfast video. i was wondering since there no TOWING options for 100% brooken down vehicules, would they allow them to be loaded on a open hall or other diffrent truck or train?

The “go home” command works for all vehicles, regardless of condition. So you can always send them to a depot, even if they are totally out of gas. It’s how the game gets around the lack of towing. You can load them on another truck or wagon then, provided they are within the weight limits.

There’s no track yet. Have to have a track for the train to travel, and until I get the track built up to the border, I can’t even get any trains to use for that. ;)

@@AyresAudioHub in realistic mode you have to build everything by yourself. To build tracks you need to build rail construction office. This buildng needs rail constructon train, that uses power, workforce, steel, gravel and few other things. You need to transport all of them to this building for rail construction train to work. You have to transport this train to the office too, and then he starts building rail quite slowly. Thats quite big investment for this already hard game.
