I have 2 children, but the first time my wife got pregnant, she miscarried. I can't imagine, on top of having to cope with the loss of the pregnancy and everything surrounding it, dealing with legal issues and a bunch of questions about what happened from law men. And, al9ng with that, I can't imagine our doctor getting in trouble witu the law for assisting in dealing with the miscarriage medically. How insane would that be?

One thing that really bothers me about this, that I wish more folks would talk about, is the fact that every woman in my life/family that I've spoken to who has birthed more than one child has had a miscarriage at some point in their life. Miscarriages are much more common than you would think. People just don't talk about them. The law must be made abundantly clear and based on the health and safety of American citizens.

Will's response sounds silly to me for one main reason: These healthcare laws are not written in ways that doctors can soundly interpret with clinical definitions and guidelines. To those who applauded, "I will enforce MO law, period end of story," sounds nice to the ear if they haven't considered that the law might be contradictory to life. An effective attorney general *NEEDS* humane nuance when handling these cases.

Yes the rule of law is a high tenet. But that only applies to laws that are in the interest of The People. Those laws he is talking about shouldnt be law and are counterintuitive to a happy and healthy population.

The first guy had the correct answer. The job your applying for is to be the person who enforces the law. If your more concerned with keeping people out of prison or using your position to enforce your other personal political beliefs then you are absolutely not fit for that job. One of the biggest problems in this country right now is all the left wing activists who have been elected as AG’s who aren’t prosecuting law breakers. The only reason crime stats have “gone down” is because so many AG’s refuse to persecute theft and other crimes that are really harming a lot of communities across the country. While crime being prosecuted is down, crime has increased. We need someone who is going to enforce our laws. That is the whole point of this job. I don’t want to turn into New York or Portland. People are fleeing places with activist AG’s because of how bad crime has gotten. Missouri doesn’t need that.

AG's have discretion about which violations to prioritize. The first guys answer is a canned response to a perfect situation. When a law is not clearly written that a answer goes out the window.
