My first time ever going out shad fishing. had a ton of fun and will defiantly be going out again this year for more! Huge shout out to Troy AKA boneyard Bassin for all the help. I encourage you guys to go out and give it a shot. It's a ton of fun after you get the hang of it! I also show the tips and tricks in this video to help you guys hook into these fish!

I’ve been using them in oc for 10-15yrs just not at Clackamette

@@Spartankidoutdoors That is correct. The darts that work best are the Oregon Tackle 1/32 oz green/chartreuse ones for sunny days and the Red/white ones for cloudy/rainy days. Don't get the round ones, they don't seem to trigger the bites as well as the darts. You did well that day. I was feeding the poles to my friend's kids so they could enjoy the bounty of fish. Lots of fish from late May to mid June. I'll see you there at Clackamette park in 2020, I'm the Asian guy in the big hat that was on your right catching the Shad.
