What is funnier is that you could tell he is an excellent dancer, but still Jack moved badly sometimes. Dancing badly on purpose can be harder than doing it correctly. And the fact that he had to pretend to be awful (at times) just for a gag .... Amazing! He loved his job and his fans that much, he would even dance badly for them. Love it!

Let them wonder. It doesn't stop me. It didn't stop my mother, either. It's how we do our chores. My brother and I got used to it at a young age and so did my son. When I was young, the whole apartment could hear it. But, now we all use headphones for music and nobody cares who is watching. In fact, if a good song is playing at the store, that shopping cart Will be pushed with flair - and lots fancy steps, while I lip sync along. I truly don't care! My freesstyle is 80s based which means it's the most fun to watch and laugh at/with, but it's also the most fun to do and worth it. Enjoy, without care. Please!

It's called acting! 🤣 Usually you get the meet and greets and star struck conversations out of the way first, so it doesn't get in the way of your performance. Then, you get your act together and get the job done. Then again, gag reels do exist for a reason. I know there were a ton of those for the show because you can tell they had waay too much fun behind the scenes for there not to be any. But, there had to have been a ton of star struck and embarrassing yourself in front of your idols outtakes, too. Still, you get past it, put on your game face, and do what needs to be done to get paid. Yay!

@@guilhermefd30you don’t need to acknowledge the audience to break the fourth wall. You simply need to shatter the illusion that what you’re watching is real. In this case, Karen acknowledging that Gregory Hines is a talented tap dancer irl and not a lawyer named Doucette breaks that illusion (and gives us a magical dose of Hines’ talent).

Very few sitcoms in the history of TV ever came close to the reliable laugh out, endless sassy one line a minute, crazy action comedic hilarity of W & G. It was true social progression as well.
@HilaryPeaАй бұрын
That is because very few push against social norms and acceptability like Will & Grace did. They didn't care about boundaries, they did what they wanted, as long as they knew it would get a laugh. And it did, because of that extra mile they went. Shock value is awesome and they knew it. Not every actor would go so far as to let another actor practically molest them like Sean had done to Megan on so many occasions - examples being in this video where he motorboated her boobs and she grinded against his backside (deeply). It's acting and it's innocent, but TV producers just don't like to expose viwers to anything provacative and fun. Before, during, or after Will & Grace. They broke so many barriers for broadcast television (movies had already done it), things people never even considered airing ir were afraid to. They didn't toe the line, they danced on it! Then, all but molested it 🤣
