Same. I was a little bit disappointed they didn't cast Willemijn for the German production in Hamburg. Sabrina Weckerlin will be amazing as Elsa, but she's not Willemijn. If Willemijn would be casted for the Dutch production I rather learn Dutch and see Frozen live in the Netherlands

I love her voice, but I think she just learned this song very recently in context to this video. I have heard her do other songs, and she usually acts them so well you feel the emotional journey she’s taking you on. I feel as if she had had some more time with the song, she would have acted it just as well. Please understand that I am not criticizing her, I love her voice and always enjoy listening to her no matter what language she is singing in because she is that amazing.

I would like to see the musical in Germany with her as Elsa !!! That would be a wish that would come true! She has such a breathtaking voice and such a great charisma on stage! I just discovered this song and I am genuinely surprised that this was put into Frozen. There's murder and Prince Hans and all that in the movie too, but this song is effectively suicidal. That's pretty dark. In the movie it's clear Elsa doesn't like herself and sees herself as a danger, but when the idea of removing herself from society occurs to her, she doesn't plunge a dagger into her heart but runs away. Very interesting storyline adaptation, but it does change the target age for the show

I think Willemijn sounds so much younger than Idina. I really HATE that they casted someone so old for a young woman. Willemijn at least passes for a young woman’s voice.

I think Idina fit the original, villainous interpretation of the character...I guess she already had her contract signed once they made her an anti hero.

Couldn't agree more. And it's not only the age. The character's whole thing is that she is a SNOW QUEEN and "cold doesn't bother her anyway", but with Idina it sounds like she has chronic bronchitis.

If you listen to Willemijn's voice in other songs unrelated to Frozen she actually sounds somewhat older. It's the mark of a great actor to be able to moduleate his voice and change how he sounds to fit the character's attributes
