Just bought that very car,a yellow convertible....looking at a 1600cc BMW 6cylinder bike engine conversion, similar shape to the MB motor. Car was £160($200) at a government auction...fun times ahead 😂

@petrolak well obv as I owned one but the front wheels on a smart are very small even stock they are sketchy at 70mph.

@@John.Winchester 450 or 451 ? as my 451 isn't at all sketchy at 70 and cruises effortlessly at that speed, even hitting the limited 90mph was fine .

@marcushull12 451 but mine was a cabrio and I think lack of stability from not having a solid roof was part of the issue

I have a 451 and I have to go over a bridge at highway speed that gets some heavy wind. The problem disappeared when I upgraded the sway bar bushings. Putting 175 on the front also works.
