Wow, this song took me by surprise when I first heard it recently. My wife and I were driving back from a softball tournament out of state as my 15 year old daughter slept in the back seat. This song brought tears to my eyes, because for me, this song is about my daughter growing up and going out on her own. Just like any child, that fire burning deep inside their soul is growing up and being independent. She'll always be my little baby and sometimes it's sad to think of mom and dad not being the most important people in their life. For a dad it's especially difficult. Needless to say I've played this song a couple dozen times and it still hits the feels hard. I'm all but convinced this will be the song my daughter and I dance to at her wedding. God Bless ya'll.

She loves horses, I prefer trucks. But I won't hesitate to climb on horseback and ride off into the sunset with her. This has been one of our favorite songs since it came out, and I'm so glad to finally see a fitting video for it.

I was the security guard at Southern Junction when you played there this year. Before I saw you Live, the only song I knew was “Hit You Where it Hurts”, and that was because of a vengeful ex that ominously played that song throughout our short relationship. Also, the Junction had been playing “Ringling Road” throughout the weeks coming up to your show. Whole time i didnt even know that was you. I seen many performers come through while I worked there, but you my friend are by far the most talented songwriter and in turn, best live performer I have seen to date in country music. Thank you for your passion and your true character in your music. I remember your generator story you told on stage and I hold it with me to this day. Continue to Believe in yourself, and believe in your music brother. May the best come to you in your grind to leave your legacy.

Actually this song reminds me of what women & some men go through when their partners drink & often excessively. Or actually any addiction or lifestyle comfort zone place. It's hard when someone has a drive to do something all the time, a need whether good or not very good.

West Texas in the Davis mountains for sure maybe alpine. The Permian basin is a flat desert for sure but west of the Basin is a beautiful rolling country at certain times of the year.
