This title gave me dyslexia lol. I read Barry Friedkin, then Stanley Kubrick, finally Barry Kibrick. Thanks for the upload! and the dyslexia! 😂

Friedkin is my favorite director and interview subject, but let’s get real, he’s not the best to ever do it, he is great though, rip btw

@@24ncole Well Coppola might have something to say... But without mocking, I'm genuinely curious to know who you think is best! You seem pretty intelligent given your response.

@ Thanks, I think Coppola made the 3 best movies of any director, GF 1&2 and Apocalypse Now, but Spielberg and Scorsese I think have better filmographies for sure than Friedkin, Billy Wilder and Kubrick are other greats off the top of my head, Friedkin is the best interview out of all these though imo, and a great director

@@24ncole Personally I think Friedkin surpasses Spielberg. I don't think Steven has a film that is quite as good as The Exorcist or Sorcerer. And for my third place I would consider Polanski above Scorsese tbh. Chinatown might be the second best film ever made, after GF1

I think I’ve watched close to 10 KZbin interviews where Friedkin talks about “the mystery of faith” as being central to “The Exorcist.” He made the movie, and he’s certainly entitled to his opinion, but I don’t buy it. For me it will always be a very creepy, scary and unsettling flick. But that’s it. Christopher Hitchens once said that God is not great, and the same thing goes for the Devil.

re: "Great director but he lives off to movies" (???) Mr.Friedkin's life is to direct movies. You state the obvious in an underhanded manner.

@@warriormanmaxx8991 he's trying to say "two movies" because friedkin only had two hits. so he's going the "ha ha, only two of his movies were hits" route. probably ruins kids sand castles at the beach.
