Sprinter definitely the best ever. When he beat Cue Card and 3 other top horses at Aintree over 2m 3f I think it was. Never come off the bridle. LEGEND.

I saw Sprinter for the first time, in the flesh, in the Parade Ring at Sandown Park, when he beat Sanctuaire. The one and only time I have been mesmerised by a horse just walking around.

Sprinter Sacre was the best by a mile no horse would have laid a glove on him at his peak. Master Minded second but he wasn't around that long, but his CC win was one of the best performances you'll ever see. Altior 3rd for me then Moscow Flyer with Edredon Bleu 5th.

I remember Ruby and Paul saying they thought there was something up with Kauto when he struggled to match Master Minded on the gallops but it just showed how good M/M was at his best.

I liked Tingle Creek and I know you younger ones have probably seen Crisp get caught by Red Rum in the G/National but he was great at 2M with his catch me if you can tactics...Same with Tingle but he couldn't act at Cheltenham.

Moscow Flyer for me he beat Istabraq over hurdles started watching racing in early 90s some great 2 milers Remittance Man Katabatic Waterloo Boy Viking Flagship Deep Sensation Martha's Son also would give Barnbrook Again a mention

Best 2 mile chaser was Sprinter Sacre & he would've probably stayed & retired UNBEATEN over 2 & 2 1/2 mile. Masterminded 19 lengths Champion Chase win was one of the best ive ever seen because he wasn't with Paul Nicholls that long & it was only his 2nd start for him & more impressively he was only a 5yr old & i cant remember the last 5yr old to win that race. I'd probably just have Moscow Flyer ahead of Altior with Edrodon Bleu 5th. But what about Remittance Man, Wayward Lad, Pearlyman, Waterloo Boy to name a few etc.

A bit too soon for me when Moscow was about still in school. Sprinter wouldn’t be just the best 2m chaser for me but the best ever since 2008 at least when I got into racing, no horse would, could have beaten him at his best. His 2016 win was spectacular too all things considered and when you see the horses he beat who went onto be brilliant horses too. Master Minded would then be next who might have took it to Sprinter. Master Minded lost to VPU and puts a blot which just puts him in number 2. Although they’re not on the list Energumene and Shishkin deserve a mention. That race at Ascot is one of the best 2m races of the current era for me.

I know BG liked both Sprinter & Moscow BUT come on Barry Sprinter was beating Champion Ch winner 20 lengths on the bridle & i know Moscow was a great horse he & Sprinter met Sprinter beats Moscow easy. Masterminded 20 length Champion Ch win breathtaking.
