I wonder if Quevega would've won a Champion Hdle if given the chance ? I mean Annie Power & Honeysuckle did & Quevega was a top class mare, don't think she'd have won a stayers Hdle as Big Bucks was a bit too good for her at 3 miles but at 2 miles i think she would've had a great chance at a Champion Hdle.

It would have to be a horse who comes back year after year an wins different races ie a handicap champion hurdle gold Cup I can't think of one of the top of me head probably dawn run or best mate or arkle

Barry G grandfather bred Golden Miller. WOW some feat. Best Mate great horse win 3 Gold Cups,but not the flashy win type. Istabraq 3 Champ Hdles, Big Bucks 4 stayers hdles 18 wins in a row & Quevega 6 mares hdles some feat BUT now talking about where they'd put Arkle if he was on the list then even Golden Miller's feat 5 Gold Cups & 1 Grand National remarkable but Arkle still would top them all.
