By this time next year, William will turn the second Taylor-Dunn into a time machine. His only issue is that he took a bunch of mushrooms before going 30 years into the past. Old William invested all his money in Facebook then sold it all to hoard cool science equipment. Rumour has it, he still thinks he's tripping balls. He calls himself an equipment farmer.

@@StrangelyIronic That's how hoarding be. Not applicable to hoarding only of course since most people keep mementos and such. Hoarding is only when it gets out of control and you start ascribing disproportionate value to random objects that happened to tickle your fancy at that specific time and place. Where a random napkin becomes a representation of some traumatic event in your life and you ascribe a meaning to it that others can't comprehend. It becomes a part of you that you can't throw away because it feels like you're getting a piece of yourself ripped away. Anyway I'm just drunk and yapping or whatever the kids say.

6:38 YOOOO the Z-Corp 3D-printer I worked with one of those in college. It has a corn starch tub that could lower on z-axis. Those little tanks are colored glue that get inkjet printed onto the starch, then the tub lowers one layer, a fresh layer of corn starch is layed down and the process repeats. This was called "binder jetting" and when it was finally done you'd dig the part out the tub of dust. And try not to break the part. Wheee I don't think we had a support contract on it and i had to flush out the print head every time it sat for a while but somehow we could still get a print out of it now and then. The cool thing about it was that it could print in color years before easy multi-filament got going with FDM.
