I'd suggest reacting to Fences/The Same Tattoos, he's the young man who sang the chorus for this Macklemore song. I love your reaction videos, hopefully someday my dad stops drinking, he's 72 and a vet who started when he was 12 also. I myself am a recovered alcoholic at 36, I been sober since November 2011, I started drinking at 12 like my dad, for some reason when I was 22 depression hit hard which had always been an issue but I ended up drinking whiskey everyday until I passed out, woke up did it again, hurt people who loved me, I did lots of drugs but for me that was never the main problem it was the whiskey. I should be dead, I got shot at over a bad drug deal, got into many drunken crashes, lost a great job folks would give to make the money I did but somehow my Mom's prayers kept me out of the grave. I wont lie, at 36 it's a struggle, not a day goes by I want to get drunk and forget everything in my head but I know it won't fix anything and I don't want my Mom to see me in that kind of shape again. Anyways I'll stop blabbing, I love what you do.

Alcohol kills creativity, sure. But, so does stress. I doubt that the alcohol has nuked the creative parts in your brain permanently, but stress is likely to keep it down. Get out of there, be able to relax for 6-12 months, and you should be able to get cracking again.
