Carlos showed tenacity, speed, and patience at Ferrari, proving to all that he is a top tier F1 pilot. Further, Carlos proved to be Ferrari's premier race strategist- something they urgently needed. No offense to Lewis (whom I wish well) but I would never release Sainz for a brief flirtation with Hamilton in the twilight of his career. I think Carlos will be a much sought-after driver over the next 5 years.

More excited about this pairing than any other on the grid - and I'm a life long Ferrari fan. Carlos is the hardest working driver on the grid, hands down. Alex has proven he's an effective communicator with a keen eye for data. Both of them complement Vowles' management style and data obsession perfectly. With a few years and a healthy dose of luck, I firmly believe Williams will ascend again.
