Pulling motor on my Evo 9 and your videos helped a lot, thanks man!

Hmm, I didn't know the 9 and 8 water pumps were different. Thanks for documenting! Also, thanks for the shout out :)

Thanks so much for watching! BTW your "how to" videos were a huge inspiration. Thanks for taking the time to put them together and share your knowledge. Trust me I know how much time goes into filming and editing them and I'm a total amateur.

@@williamsportwrestler Thanks! You did good, this video is much better than most i see. No shaky camera work, no really poor lighting and no uninformative filler content. Your evo up and running now or still a work in process? I just dropped my trans for rebuild.

Reason for turning the crank a few times and waiting some time is to fully allow the tensioner to expand as much as normal and if the proper tension is achieved then you should be able to put that tensioner pin back in the hole with no issues. took me a couple of times and very close so i left it on the tight side of things....MAKE SURE WHEN PUTTING THAT PIN BACK IN IT GOES ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE BACK OF THE TENSIONER, thats how you know the proper tension is achieved

i would of also waited to put the accessory belt tensioner back on till the motor was back in the car to give you some room for movement
