I tell you what I don’t know what going on in the inside but I dam sure know how NFL minicamps and training camps are ran what’s happening in the portal is the tamer version. What I’m seeing is players taking it personal I remember good football players that was hard to coach don’t study film and don’t put in the extra work. The player with less skill but coach able and put in the extra effort end up on the team and the other player with skills end up cut! Coaches can give everything you need to be successful but they can’t give you effort and the attitude to refuse to lose so it’s not favoritism it’s recognizing who’s better suited for the NFL and if you get a shot you will find out fast where you stand. You won’t get that from coaching that doesn’t know what it takes to be the best!!!

Coach Prime has said relationships matter to him. Something Willie Gaines and others need to learn. The fact Coach Prime knew Willie's name unlike the initial roster of football athletes at CU when Coach Prime arrived, that alone should have meant something to Willie Gaines. Coach Prime did not bother learning students'names that he knew he was not gonna keep on the team. Coach Prime is not an ordinary coach, he is a Haller of Famer, a millionaire, and has many business ventures. And with all this Coach Prime is not perfect; he is flawed. Maybe Willie wanted Perfection but got flaws. Willie is there for Willie's career and he should not allow anything to interfere with his career by taking things personally.. He should not expect fairness anywhere or entitlement anywhere in the realm of competitive sports. These athletes think their talent is the most impressive talent out there, when it is not. Coach Prime knows it is not but he gives the opportunity by getting your "foot in the door". It is up to the athlete to seize the opportunity himself. Coach Prime is not going to walk you through how to seize the opportunity, athletes will have to figure that out on their own. To say it simple ........the old school philosophy ; practice hard in practice play great on game day. However, today's young players get thur a week of practice. Take it easy .......show gametime.
