Yes! She is definitely the best musician in the family. Of course being Will Smith's daughter opens a lot of doors and makes it easier for her to get good business deals, but I truly believe her music would be successful if she was just some random girl because it is really that great!

@kilmoturtles1
@kilmoturtles1 4 ай бұрын
@@crunchy_wahter Nah. I think she chocked on a peanut or something during one of the rehearsals and they decided to keep the sound she made, but that was the extent of her contribution. joking aside.. she is just an " artist" singing music that others made for her to sing. Well, they did not specifically make it for her, but they chose her to sing their music. To help sell the product they will say she " wrote and/or contributed lyrics", but that is usually just to convince people she is a "musician". But, I have to say that she did her job very well.. it fits her; she looks that part, and she sung it as it should be sung
@disobeats

@@crunchy_wahter no she just creates a melody and writes lyrics over a beat as many artists do. still very impressive as not everyone can sing over a 7/4 beat.

Fun fact: The marking on Willow’s forehead is called tilak- it’s made with a clay from a sacred holy river and the paste is called Gopi Chandan. A mantra is chanted when applying it asking God to reside in the mind and open our minds to His presence! (It’s placed on 12 different parts of the body too) It’s a beautiful ancient Vedic practice from a spiritual lineage called Krishna Consciousness. Or God consciousness! Its main teaching is that we are all spirit souls, not the body.

@loveindefinitely there was a time when tiny desk was a place for real musicians but looks like if you can afford to piece a studio band together and sing karaoke they will give you a platform. I'm sure it has nothing to do with who her parents are just pure talent

@@jayenvarma Zach is also the keyboardist for the indie psychedelia band Arc Iris, while the female guitarist Liso Lee is the lead guitarist and singer of South Korean alt-rock band SE SO NEON. Willow just brought a bunch of awesome talents here! Edit: I made mistake. The female guitarist isn't the one in SE SO NEON, she's a different person and the one in the S. Korean band is actually called So-Young. I mistook her for So-Young because they both look similar, my apology😅🙏
