Thanks for sharing 🙂 I don’t understand why most manufacturers never seem to get low range gearing low enough. Only 4x4s I’ve ever owned with a fairly good low range is my Suzuki Carry and my Ford F-250 manual with the granny 1st. My Suzuki sidekick and my manual Toyota FJ definitely could benefit with a lower gearing ⚙️ The silicon bronze TIG rod is good stuff for that cast iron 👍

Yeah after I finished the build he installed it and has been running it ever since. It’s the green Jeep in my last off roading video. I just finished a 2 part series on tear down and rebuild of a spicer 18. kzbin.info/www/bejne/f32nXnqFbMqbgpIsi=BwAretLs4Y8mTNiJ

I wonder if you could do the same to a Dana 20. I know gears can be swapped on these cases. I forget the details though.

That would drop my 2A from like 85:1 to 173:1 😅 they would be awesome for a guy who wants to keep their T90 instead of swapping to a 4 speed.
