@@ScottsGarage17 Did you come across any problems while your PCV system was removed? I am experiencing intense oil leakage after a drive - assuming this is due to the over pressure. I don't even have a draft tube installed

@@shall2117 No, I hadn’t run it much and the valve cover had nothing over the opening so there wast much pressure.

Hey Scott do you have a part number for the brass fitting from the ventilator cup to the pipe? I’m guessing it’s 1/8 to 1/4 NPTF?

Thanks for the video, this answers my questions. I had to clean the little hole of the valve as having a functionning spring my not be enough at idle ensuring a minimum flow of gas. At least this is my understanding. Cheers

How did the screen seal on cover, saw no gasket on it should have two gaskets.

Hi Scott, do you have a draft tube on the other side? My friend has a 1950 Willys motor with a draft tube and his PCV valve is on the top of the valve cover in back near the firewall. Is that the right location for his engine or should he remove the draft tube and install the PCV there?

Keep the draft tube, works the same as a PCV system when you’re moving. Try not to idle excessively

My 1953 F head version of this engine has a large tube that provides a vent from the "side valve" cover as shown in the video, which routes directly downward, so the crankcase gases are ventilated under the car.

thats a Draft tube... you can upgrade to a PCV system.

I thought all the old cars had draft tubes.
