I’m truck driver and is not easy to stay inside the port for 4-5 hours just to get load container and then take it to the warehouse and find empty container to go back to the port again to get another load and wait again the same time…. So make trucker great again 👍

Damn I feel for u guys with the empty container situation. Alot of people don't understand u have to get that empty container off the chassis so u can get another loaded container. It wouldn't even be a problem if the port was allowing empty containers. The truck drivers are going above and beyond taking off the empty containers and stacking them in their yards.

It's common sense to not block ppls homes .. no one wants to get home from work and have to deal with containers blocking your driveway and both side of a residential street . The truckers just leave them there we shouldn't have to go look for them at their yard to tell them to move . I live on the street effected by this shit .

I understand that they want no trucks going through their Nabor hoods but in our town I saw few trucks that got lost so they stopped to get directions but they are very safe and take their time no incident yet and I’m glad for that

Did they NOT install a right of way for trucks & railroad line just for for cargo?There are going to be a lot of price hikes nationwide from the expensive costs of storing & transportation of all these products? With all the laws,rules & regulations that make it hard to deliver from California(thank a LAMOCRACTS SUPPORTERS) along with many truckers not wanting to come to this state? There should be a limited amount of roads that driver's go though?

Why did the people move into homes that are right next to businesses and operations they do not want to live next to? Why did the local zoning authority/city planners allow for this type of business and residential area to be right next to each other? If a business that involves a lot of heavy equipment constantly running routes is allowed to establish roots in a location, the authority who approved that should have considered the impact to the transportation infrastructure and made the appropriate adjustments as needed to that infrastructure. If a potential resident properly assessed an area and decided to sign for the home, then the potential resident 100% agreed to live in that area and knew what they would be experiencing. If you have kids and you are concerned for their safety regarding transportation, then enroll them in or create a Safety Village program where the children will be exposed to safely interacting with the different modes of transportation. Also, how is it that folks who live in a city and in a major transportation hub this clueless about transportation operations and impacts? Blocking the truck drivers in the middle of the road accomplishes what exactly? What are you going to do if the UPS/FedEx/Amazon package car shows up to deliver your package but it can not get through to your house because you blocked the 18 wheeler conducting city/state/national/internationally approved business? This international spotlight on queue theory and logistics right now is a great reason to learn more about those fields of study, especially if you will be heading off to college soon. If you are standing in an airport security line, sitting in traffic with reduced drive lane availability due to accident, trying to buy something online, or sitting in line at an emergency management distribution center trying to get supplies to survive the aftermath of a natural disaster, you are participating in a queue. The trucks, trains, ships, and airplanes navigating the country and the world to move cargo, are in queues and they are all working hard to keep the supply chain moving forward. The story above is yet another example of society being inconsiderate to truck drivers who have the role of moving cargo from Point A to Point B and often times do it within communities that do not have the proper perspective. Thank you to all of the folks who are in the supply chain doing what you can, where you are, and with what you have.

Truckers do not have carte blanche on where they can drive or park. There are posted routes for a reason and one is that roads are rated and paved for certain weights between the tires/axles! Have the PD or Sheriff’s department start citing them! Those tickets for being off route are not cheap so that shit will stop fast
