Wilmslow facing the same fate as most town centers, shop closures, business's going, but check out the Aston Martins at the end ;-)

Wilmslow in the 1970s All Grove St shops were independent traders. Everyone knew who ran them. Greeted by name. People would arrive on a Saturday morning and know each other, chat to each other, and the kids would go to the Disney Cartoon films at the Rex, on their own - so that's about 130 kids - no supervision. It was a community. Things have changed

I went to school there in the 1960s. It was more normal then with a Woolworths. pubs and so on. It looks very sterile now. I did spot a Dominos pizza shop near the Aston Martin depot and a Greggs in Grove St

100% Used to work in Wilmslow and it is the most overrated town I know. No character at all, just office blocks. Love Nantwich, beautiful town. I'd take Nantwich, Knutsford or Congleton over Wilmslow any day.

Nothing wrong with a Honda Mate! Just means you smart enough not to buy a car that costs more than a house and can go 150mph when there is no where to LEGALY drive half that speed and an oil change costs $500.00. Love your Honda! It deserves it!

My mum used to live a park home in Mobberly. We once went in to Hoopers in Wilmslow and I was constantley being followed by staff, I think because I was wearing jeans and Tshirt, rather than sling backs and tiara. Hated the place. It screams filthy Cheshire Housewives

Of course there's no price in the window. If you have to ask, you can't afford it. Also, they wouldn't want "general public" seeing it and having a heart attack in front of there business. You might damage a car when you fell.
