An all time great manager. I thought he was awful his first couple seasons with the Giants, but he had nothing to work with, but an old roster without the talent to compete. He let that drawl and manager-speak fool me. As soon as the Giants got that injection of young talent, they took off under him. I remember telling Rangers fans to not let the drawl and cliches fool them. I, uh, did not expect him to win a World Series right away with them 😂

The Cincinnati Reds Swept the San Francisco Giants in San Francisco this 2010 Season. That Series though was very costly to the Reds because Joey Votto the league MVP hurt his Ankle and Johnny Cueto developed trouble in his throwing shoulder. The Reds even played beat San Francisco two games in a Row in San Francisco in the National League Championship Series, but the Reds lost three Games in a Row to the Giants in Cincinnati because they didn't have their Ace Picher (Johnny Cueto) nor Their MVP Hitter Joey Votto) This was supposed to be Cincinnati Reds Year. I was Mighty disappointed that we lost to the Giants. The Giants Catcher Hit the Cover off the Ball in the Cincinnati Series. I thought that if the Giants can sweep three games in a row from the Reds in Cincinnati, that they deserve to win the World Series. It's iron, because Josh Hamilton was playing for Texas and he was a driving force on the Rangers getting to the World Series in the first place, and he was playing for the Cincinnati Reds before getting Traded to Texas. I guess it was a pretty good trade. Volquez was one of the best pitchers but he got hurt and needed Tommy John Surgery. He helped the Pirates beat the Reds one season in a National League Playoff and he helped the Kansas City Royals along with Johnny Cueto Win a World Series Championship with the Kansas City Royals. Ironically Johnny Cueto ended up with the San Francisco Giants. The Giants. I thought for sure that the Giants were going to win again when they had three Reds pitcher a couple of years ago. I thought that They had the best Pitching Staff.
