Melo really messed up the Knicks the moment the trade went thru. If only he waited til free agency. And Lin was a god send had the skill set to mash with Amare and Melo but Melo messed that up too smh

Melo was also the last one to figure things out.He was last in understanding having shorter term deals protected players from being stuck somewhere too long,he took too long to figure out how to conform and meshing with other stars,he took too long to figure out he gotta take 3pt shooting more serious.Melo still a great player but he shoulda been less money/ego driven and more up to date on how the league with changing

What I've come to know is that any player who forces their way out of a Franchise that built around them they will not perform like the same players they were before so for an example if Embiid demands a trade from the Sixers right now then we are not going to see the same MVP Embiid anymore because team's and organisations are to quick to change a player's role and force players to take a back seat to the next upcoming Star player it happened with Harden it happened with Dwight it happened with Lowry and it happened with Kemba and if only they stayed with the Rockets, Magic, Raptors and the Hornets then Harden would've still been the same MVP Harden right now, Dwight would've still been in the League as a Veteran right now, Lowry would still be making All Star games right now and Kemba would still be in the League 💯

Crazy people hating on VC for going to his college graduation which was probably a huge moment for him. He played great that playoff series & while he didn’t shoot well in game 7 (6/18) he played all 48 minutes put up 20/7/9/3/2, so if that last shot goes in he’s a hero & narrative changes to how VC was a college graduate & game 7 hero all in 1 day. No wonder VC wanted to leave Toronto

Depending on how his Chinese career goes, Marbury might make the HOF ngl. Their criteria is not about solely having an NBA career and I guess it just depends on Marbury actually having an impact in China’s basketball culture
@deathbyteyo
@deathbyteyo Жыл бұрын
He's been retired since 2018. He won't make the HOF, doesn't have the resume to. Beside that mediocre non NBA/ABA highlights or accolades wouldn't qualify you for the HOF.
@PharlULous
@PharlULous Жыл бұрын
@@deathbyteyo Oscar Schmidt begs to differ. HOF is not the NBA HOF, it's Naismith Memorial Basketball HOF. btw, they also inducted Yao Ming there based on his impact in expanding basketball in China. So if Marbury had at least more than half the impact Yao had, he should be considered.
@klauswagner1607
@klauswagner1607 Жыл бұрын
@@PharlULous Oscar Schmidt is the all time Olympic scoring leader. Marbury big accomplishment is two win bronze with a team full of NBA stars. By that logic, Ferdette has a way better case for the HOF since he had a way better college career and an arguably better international career.
@PharlULous
@PharlULous Жыл бұрын
@@klauswagner1607 Well, Fredette could have a case eventually; I ain't debating on that. What I'm trying to point out is a player can be inducted to the HOF even if they do not make a lot or no impact at all in the NBA. btw, Fredette may have had more impact than Marbury in the CBA, but Marbury was a decent player in the NBA during his time (2x all-star, 2x all NBA 3rd team). A feat Fredette could not attain during his time in the NBA.
@klauswagner1607

@@PharlULous The players, that are in the HOF that hadn't a big NBA career all had major success at the Olympics or WC. And Marburry had the opposite of it. And he went for the money instead for the competition. And in the end, he was paid to promote a dictatorship and that is nothing that should be honoured with an introduction in the HOF.

Man, you gotta talk with more flow. You are spitting out information while literally ending every sentence with the same intonation. It's as if everything you're saying is a question or unending list. Slow down. Take pauses between sentences. Form full sentences. Separate ideas. You're just rattling off unending information.
