A part of the problem I have with KD is he, like Kyrie, over estimate how successful they are being the man. To me, KD being on the warriors was a perfect fit for him because it was Steph’s team and at the same time, it hid KD’s deficiencies as a leader so that when failures happen, things don’t fall squarely on your shoulders. Locker rooms tend to work like a 9-5 job in there are always colleagues who are amazing at their job and are even the best at certain things, but have limitations in leading anyone other than themselves. These type of people work great as an important member of the team makeup, but are not ideal as the project lead or supervisor role. KD for years has struck me as that coworker. He’s great at his great areas but he would not be the person you want leading you in a group dynamic where we will rise and fall on his leadership.
