Nice one Sandy, sometimes you just gotta ride! I have never felt worse after a ride, it always relaxes me, washing off is part of the ride really, in winter. I dont have a `drier` i just use my compressor to carefully blow it off, then a good squirt of wd40 (i buy it by the gallon). quick tip - a squirt of wd40 on a saw blade, and it cuts wood without jamming. all the best!

Enjoyed the ride out. Mojo is a fairly important part of video making and as you say it’s not always there. I feel the same at times and just walk away from it for a while. The Cub is a great little bike but perhaps it's cruising speed is a little low. The Himalayan will travel at 60mph all day long and will carry a heavier load giving you more options. Also it's got some off road credentials, is fairly rugged, returns 80mpg and easy to maintain.

Good on you for getting out - and thanks for taking us along with you. "The roads are filthy" - aye that. We've had some lovely dry (not raining) and bright days recently, but the roads are absolutely not conducive to two wheeled adventures (not for my money, anyway). I don't know the science of it, but it's the same (and expected) each winter: as soon as the salt goes down on the roads, all the moisture, oil, grease, rubber, and mud is "locked in" and they might as well be... well, icy! Lost your Mojo, and then you sww Joe. You should have stopped and asked Joe for some mo' joe for your mojo! (sorry, Joe).

Sandy, it's a sign of Country Life these days, mechanized Agriculture and warm cabs.. where there still is Farming. My Dad could not only laid hedges, but shear them with a staff hook, not to mention the annual ditch digging... why we've flood today. I've his and granddads billhooks' and hatchets' and still use them, sadly in the last move have lost his staff hook, rare in it was left handed, the beveled edge to the flat back blade. Most interesting your trip out. I was keen to see Lechlade, as would pass through there, Burford and Charlbury on way to brother in law at Stonesfield and taking Woodstock, never had time for Blenheim!!!. Cheese Wharf.. was the shipment of cheese along the Thames, as had been a lot of cargos to and from London. Ian Fleming died at age 56, early morning of 12 August 1964-his son Caspar's 12th birthday. Best wishes and speedy recovery to Mandy.. been there with broken leg, I know it this cold weather.. Ah Mojo.. I'm short on that too.

@@WiltshireMan It's also possible to buy 5v heating pads with power cabling, they're much cheaper but when they're placed in a glove, will only warm the back of the hand and not the fingers.
