Where about are you from? UK person here, so these accents are all understandable, but there are some words from different accents I don’t understand. Certain dialects over here, I lose out on entire sentences some people say haha Don’t worry about getting lost, certain accents are genuinely hard work haha. Even for the natives

patsy is so right. i too was one of the victims of the school swimming lessons. Open air pool in winter, freezing cold weather and water, polystyrene floats, and us poor children forced in there. i can swim and still to this day cannot breathe properly to be any good at swimming. that was over 60 years ago and i will never forget it.

Our swimming instructor was a nasty so and so. , when I was about 8 he used to cream a us, and throw us in he deep end etc. we we too terrified to do anything.

I enjoyed swimming in the town pool as a kid but never learned to really relax in the water till I was 30 and swam in Hawaii in warm water.

The pool we were forced into was so icy cold that I genuinely couldn’t breathe. And we were expected to jump in and immediately do a lap while gasping for breath. Thankfully my Mum wrote me a note to exempt me from swimming lessons eventually, but it’s genuinely appalling they force kids to do that

But granddad is not even that unrealistic, it's not uncommon for men in their 40s to become fathers. I mean David seemed shocked by it but it might well be the case for his own daughter. I believe victoria was 51 when the daughter was born, so the grandparents could quite well be 80.

So the betting shop will happily take your money whether they are planning to go out of bussiness or not. There's probably a small print somewhere that says if they go out of bussiness or the apocalypse happens or the pound is considerably devalued or the lilelyhood of the event you predicted increases that the odds drop to nil or whatever that means a bet 100 years in the future is not going to be honoured should xyz circumstance happen.

There is an Australian version as well, which also sucks. Each culture has it's unique brand of humor and usually they don't translate well. Conversely the American version of "The Office" works better than the UK version. Different strokes for different folks!

chocolate varies in quality, any your willing to give to a dog is probably on the lesser end of that scale. that said most of what we eat is some form of poison to us and we stupidly come up with flavours for the stuff we shouldn't be eating.
