My favorite part of these is that for the true ones, David isn't even really trying to play the game anymore. He's so eager to share his worldview through these codes, and is deadly serious and earnest in his passionate explanation of the cards' content.

I also enjoy it, even if it is a bit painful in places. You can tell Lee thought the percentage chance it was a lie is about the same percentage David thought the Wok cookbook was a lie, and he thought it would make for great drama. You can also kind of see David realizing the comedy gold about to unfold and grudgingly decides it’s worth it. I do often wonder what went on behind the scenes after that particular episode was filmed.
@livb6945 Жыл бұрын
I don't get this attitude.... because I feel the same way about pens. There's quite a few of us. I realise this is just a comment on a KZbin clip, no matter, but calling it "psychopathic" is way, way off.

In a healthy marriage you shouldn’t ruin what the other person enjoys just because you have a petty grievance with them. Getting all confused with reading a book because your bookmarks were messed with doesn’t warrant divorce or abuse, I 100% grant that, but it’s just an inconsiderate thing of a partner to do instead of maybe discussing their reason for being irritated with them. If a partner would do that IMO it’s a sign of emotional immaturity and no willingness for conflict resolution.
@silversleeper1193 Жыл бұрын
@@beomgguks970 I completely agree it’s not a good or healthy thing to do. I’m just saying on the scale of things one could do while annoyed with their significant other, this is on the low end for me, while they were making a big deal out of how AWFUL it was. I’m sure it was probably mostly for comedic effect, the joke just fell flat for me because my response if someone did that to me would be an eye roll over their immaturity, not “HOW DARE YOU?”
