Very much a working mule......love the car. You can keep trading parts and develop new ideas with it and pass them on down to other guys cars. Everything in this car is totally functional.....as I've said before, parts left out can never break or wear out and doin't cost you anything. Pure function. When you guys took it out for a drive, the engine TALKED TO ME! Nice sound without being raspy with tight handling characteristics. Whadda car! Shawn-you have the best job on earth!

@@isaiahr3471 as an owner of a 66 mustang, 500 would probably be the absolute max. Proper all around build! Can do a little bit of everything with it, have fun, sounds good, stops well, turns well, on a good tire it should go well into the 11s and I bet they don’t have to wrench on it a ton from broken parts. Way more time, effort in money in this thing that it appears on first glance. 💪💪🏎🚀

It’s not so much the stopping distance that is so noticeable, although it’s significantly better - the biggest difference was in rotor and hat temps. I’ve yet to see my brakes get over 250 degrees. My stock brakes got up to 550 degrees. Heat is a big deal.

Viking recommended 600 lb springs and I had no suspension it was like a dropped low rider so I dropped to a 500 lb and it still rides rough even when I adjust the compression and rebound getting ready to order ride tech coil overs for the front but not sure what spring rate to get any advice from anyone would be helpful thanks.

Painting Wilwood on the side is odd but ok. So it has a replacement frame? Which is totally cool if you have the cash, but that's is some serious coin, right? The rear tub work looks well done and the fender flares aren't extreme, preserving the classic look. Is it a narrowed rearend? He said it was minitubbed. That it gets driven is the best point about it in a way. When you say "manual brakes" does that mean no vacuum asist or hydraulic asist whatsoever? Because that is an issue with a lot of hot rodders trying to go 4 wheel disc conversion on some older street cars apparently. Overall, really cool Ford. Like it. Excellent video!
