I don’t understand why this match is being touted as being of the “highest” quality? Sure, it’s close, but we all know Serena is below her best. Despite the winners to unforced errors ratio, her movement in this match is sluggish and uncoordinated at times. As some have pointed out after the match came out, had Serena played her “A” game, Watson would’ve been destroyed, rather than narrowly beaten. Heather played really well, about as well as she would ever play, but aside from the hype, I don’t see the reason this is a “classic.”

Serena had the opponent across the net and the crowd, the commentators were biased as well I believe. Truly the goat up against all that negativity!
