I think it's disingenuous to say "all black has to do is play the most common moves" I don't know what rating players you are talking about, but i don't know many people who leave their entire queenside undeveloped

What you should do after 1.e4 e5 2.Bc4 Nf6 3.Nc3 is 4. ... Nxe4 followed by 5. ... d5

This is of course the best move for black, if you are facing better players, they will play this move. Probably the most complex position is after Qh5 Nd6 Bb3 Nc6 Nb5, but instead of Nc6 black can play Be7 and they are not worse.

A better than taking the B on f5 is Qh6 immediately with mate Qg7# unstoppable. The light square B can stop Q check on g file but not on g7. Always play the best move even if other moves also win but take longer.

I saw this and it makes me question if he even has a rating beyond 800 elo. I mean, get good before trying to make money “teaching” chess on YT, and the line is niche as well, not like the people are going to go into this even a fraction of the time they try.

"Most popular move" at first sight is casteling. Most people I know at 800-1200 ELO would play that

How you can say we are winning or we are even, what about little bit better or clearly better, from even to winning it is long way to go.

I appreciate the effort that goes into making such video and I watched it. The likelihood of such a deep sequence of moves without branching out is almost 0. I don't know if you can even call this a trap. The closest I can see is the copy cat variation and even that does not show up at lot. But your energy is great and any chess analysis is good.

I appreciate the feedback! And while yes, your opponents won't always play this line, each move by black is the most popular continuation so you should get plenty of chances to use it and win.

I have tried like 20 times and only one time I had that black sequence. Anyway thanks for the video, I really had fun trying this technique

The trap falls apart if Black moves pawn to g6 and one whites position becomes that of a looser.
