I got into hunting around 18(24 in a few days)and started taking it more and more seriously over the years. the only deer I've harvested so far was a button buck but I'm getting closer and closer everytime I go out to slamming a big buck Thanks to this channel and many others it's great that you guys provide a place where us new hunters can learn a ton from lots of different people especially for people that don't have family or friends to help them learn the way of the woods

Hey Josh, love the channel and all you do for the hunting community. You’re one of the big inspirations for me getting into bowhunting and I’d love to take a crack at it using a traditional bow. One thing I’m curious about is have you ever tried still hunting with a traditional bow? Seems like being a lighter bow compared to compound could be beneficial

Not to give away. A keeper. I’m 79 yo F and am off balance and in a cane. Nothing unusual about that but I was raised to love the country. Trying to get back involved with my need for the woods. I used to love Tai Chi with swords and fencing but not right now. Back to loving the bow. Great idea you have given me so, thank you. I’m going to do it. Plenty of woods around me. Again, thanks. I literally have no idea where to start with a trad bow. I have an old Pearson recurve I got off eBay and a cheap SAS longbow. It just seems overwhelming to learn how to shoot it and get the arrows tuned. It’s certainly something I’d need to practice a lot with to get the hang of.

I have a recurve ive been shooting. A PSE Impala I pulled out of the loft this winter. Ive had that thing for over 20yrs and just started using it again. Ive been so tempted to buy a long bow. I hear they are a little slower but smoother to shoot and more accurate. Maybe this is why I just never did. 😂 sweet give away. I actually have that same quiver on my impala and the crazy thing moves on me when I shove an arrow in it. Any suggestions to keep it stiff without moving?
