An erebus ascent series with a high quality quartz movement like a a VK31 would be amazing, it would be a perfect grab and go "GADA" and for many people it would sort of like how the Citizen Chronomaster is for Jody!

Thanks for having this giveaway great looking watch! I'd love to see Erebus release a thinner GMT (using Miyota's 9075 true/ travelers GMT) that has more of a sport watch vibe (closer to the Ascent than the Origen). Thanks again, just found recently and have been enjoying the content!

An excellent watch for a giveaway. We don't have enough square or tank style dress watches I'd love to see something like what Vario did with their reverso. But it will probably be a 70s style chronograph (not that there is anything wrong with that). 😀

Bought an Erebus Ascent this year in black and fully agree it is one of my favourite in the collection. Would love to see an Erebus take on a tank or tonneau style watch but keeping the sportier design language rather than the dressy style style most go for - think it could be something different that sets the brand apart. Failing that, I'd really like to see an Erebus take on a Flieger Type A style watch to help me scratch my IWC itch that I'll never be able to afford

The Ascent is a very nicely designed watch. There are hints of a High Accuracy Quartz Ascent with a thinner case as a future release. It is nice when there are options among watches with regard to movements as there is a place for both Quartz and Mechanical movements that may appeal to different people. A grade 2 Titanium would also be welcome as it can be lightweight and hypoallergenic for most people. My high school age son has recently gotten to like watches and an Ascent such as this one you are giving away would be a nice surprise for him. Thank you for your reviews James

Hello James. I would like to see a field watch with small seconds from Erebus next. Something along the lines of a Dirty Dozen watch. However, I'd favour something bigger (40mm) and not with a black dial. I have a red dialled Origin and would love an Ascent. Keep on keeping on.

Thanks James, new to your channel, but been an avid watch enthusiast for some time now. Well and truly long enough to see the Erebus rise from its inception… cool journey. What I would like the guys to make is a high-vis field watch. I mean that the hands don’t get lost in the dial. A little contrast please, for those glory days and dim evenings. Around 40 to 42mm, mostly dial, little to no bezel, 11mm or less thin. No date, of if there must be one, at the 6 o’clock position. Onion screw-in crown, maybe. Having put together a few watches myself, there are so many things to consider… but I think a field watch would look great for Erebus.

Exciting giveaway, James! Love this watch. I would like to see Erebus (and every watch brand, really) give options of date/ no-date and closed or display caseback. A quartz option would be nice as well. As for the style of the next watch, it pretty much has to be a field watch, right?!
@gz7587Күн бұрын
I love all their dial options, specifically the burnt orange and the tiger eye. I would like to see original designs, as opposed to just copying design elements of other watches. I'm not sure I saw any new design elements in any of their watches yet. Maybe the helix with their logo is original, just not my style? The most important 3 elements of a micro brand are: 1-higher specs 2-cheaper prices 3-ORIGINAL DESIGNS. I like the ascent more than the origin and I'm a dive watch guy. Thanks for the give away. Suggestion, make a give away where the winner can choose a dial or watch. Ie If possible, I think a better idea would have been to let the winner choose which dial ascent, if that was a possibility.

I’ve had my eye on the exact Adventurine Ascent since it was announced so this is perfect for me, especially never having and lusting for an adventurine dial (as a space lover). Three cool things that I’d love to see from Erebus: 1. Embrace the KZbinr origins and do collabs with other channels and do limited watches (either colors or funky dials with fun case backs that feature said channel) 2. Others have said it already but their take on a field watch in the sub $500 range would be really cool to see! 3. Afforadable integrated bracelet competitor to the PRX. I know we have Citizens offerings but I have yet to see Micros in this space. I wonder if it’s a challenge to do these for sub $500? Keep up the great work and good luck to everyone!

Good evening James, thank you for offering the Erebus watch in your "give away." I have watched Jodie's Erebus videos on his channel "Just One More Watch" and I would like to suggest a Pilot Watch as a possible future watch or better yet a Regulator style watch would be really interesting especially now that Hamilton has discontinued its Regulator. No one else is doing a Regulator and thus it would be unique.

James and a watch giveaway. A match made in heaven. My suggestion for the next watch from Erebus is some form of chronograph. It is a tall ask though as the options for mechanical chrono's are limited without spending a lot of money on a decent movement so maybe there is an option for a solar movement.

I think a good direction for Erebus - and I don’t know if this is too big of a jump - is toward a chronograph. They’ve shown amazing attention to detail and chronographs offer even more room for intelligent design and intricate features. If not that then at least something with a small second subdial for the same reason. Their helix dial with the logo pattern is so neat so I would be excited to see more small details. Very cool of them to provide a watch for your giveaway, good people behind that company.
