After Qxb7 Nd7 connects rooks and is covered by the bishop. White can probably take a second pawn but I imagine black's attack will be sufficient

36:51 Nh4 is the top engine suggestion, btw. So no, that "giveaway the bishop for free" is way way worse than Nh4, if your opponent knows what he's doing.
