Winchester Hotchkiss Restoration - Part 1 (Disassembly)

In this video, I'm fixing some wrecked factory signs on this beautiful rifle and as the client didn't know how to disassemble his Hotchkiss, I prepared a little tutorial!
Please don't get confused, this is model 1879, not 1883. Thank you for pointing that out.

У нас просто мало сведений о стрелковом оружии из Америки! Хотя конмтруктивно- американское оружие очень простое и надёжное! У нас тут в Европе больше ценят Маузера, и ещё Czech - zbroevka! After you boiled it just curious did you use fine steel wool inside the barrel and action to remove the surface rust like you carded on the outside?
