If Kaladin was a witness then Syl would have been a witness. The author implies that they were not a direct witness, therefore Syl as the epigraph writer seems inconsistent.

They're musicspren because only the mane is visible in the physical realm and looks like a musical note notation.

Also horse galloping have a certain Rythm. I think the music spren is based on Rhythm instead of tonality

My bets are on Sezth's sister as the author of epigraphs. Sezth is mentioned without a last name or an honorific, unlike Kalladin. That might be due to the familiarity.
@SilverlightGuidetotheCosmere5 ай бұрын
Good point on the familiarity! Could also be Jasnah who doesn't want to use an honorific or last name because he killed her dad, or perhaps she never learns he is son son Vallano?
@darcy72575 ай бұрын
The only thing I find odd about Syl being the author is how she has two witnesses presuming Szeth and Kaladin. I mean sure maybe with Szeth she isn’t around him for this whole event so it is plausible there is stuff he needs to give her an account for. But, she will be presumedly be with Kaladin the entire time, why does she need him as a witness, she is there she is a witness.

Agreed. I'm still thinking it's Jasnah. - Alex

Is the dude in the middle always driving. WAY too close to the face, brother. Love the reading ( you on the path of trying to be a narrator?). Dude in the middle tho - creepy.

Appreciate your comment. This is the way it's gonna be for these so that we can get them out as soon as possible, the other option is waiting to record the Saturday after and that doesn't seem as helpful to the community or growing our channel. I'm looking into the narration bit, but it's just for fun right now.

The compass points to the death of a god...Adonalsium. Though the captializaion is interesting. if it is Adonalsium why is god not captialized and why is death not capitalized?

It could be Adonalsium, though I'm still thinking it's one of the Shards Odium killed myself.

Honestly I tune out a lot worse during action sequences in these books. The mellow non-actiony parts or the politics and meetings in Oathbringer or the moments of revelation in WoR and TWoK are always more interesting, imo. There are a few exceptions obviously, but for the most part.

The levity wasn’t the problem with chapter 10, it was more Kaladin, potential future king of Urithiru and 4th ideal radiant berating this poor librarian for being honestly less confrontational and rude than Shallan half the time and the book seems to read as if Kaladin was acting in a mature way and is helping her
@benarkos5395 ай бұрын
Because he has himself matured and is on his way to being a therapist. He was going to angrily insult the librarian like he did against Shallan the first time they went at each other but stopped himself
@darcy72575 ай бұрын
I don't think how he spoke to that Librarian is indicative of being a good therapist

@darcy7257 I mean, he's still inventing it. He's still learning You can't expect him to already be perfect. And did he even really berate her What he said and the reaction he received means he read her well
@darcy72575 ай бұрын
@@benarkos539 I mean he read her well because Brandon wrote the book and wrote it that way, it still reads as incredibly rude and preachy even though the book itself seems like it is indicating that Kaladin is showing maturity. I can expect brightlord 4th ideal radiant potential future king Kaladin to show some actually maturity and not whatever that scene was meant to be.
@benarkos5395 ай бұрын
@darcy7257 literally everything in the book happens because Brandon wrote the book. I don't get your point. The 4th Ideal doesn't suddenly make him mature or fix anything and him possibly being King doesn't either. Also, what King do you think would have been disrespected so and would have taken such disrespect?
